“Coral Quest: A Journey into Reef Conservation” is an immersive educational exhibit designed to engage Guests of all ages in the vital role of coral reef ecosystems and the conservation efforts required to protect them.

Interior Room 1 - Exploration Phase
The initial scene immerses guests in an interactive underwater realm, ensuring no one is idle while waiting for the experience. Touchscreens offer engaging mini-games and puzzles that educate through play.

Interior Room 2 - Coral Science Room
Guests engage in a hands-on coral propagation simulation. Guided by the witty Reef Ranger Ray and the insightful Dr. Marina Ripple, they learn through interactive simulations and lifelike coral models.

Interior Room 3 - Entrance Lighting
As guests transition to the final phase of Coral Quest, a barrier lifts to reveal a distressed coral reef model, setting the stage for restoration. The once full-of-life reef serves as a powerful visual of the challenges reefs face.

Interior Room 3 - Collaborative Conservation
Using projection mapping, guests place their propagated coral models onto the reef, watching it transform into a thriving ecosystem. Guests experience the power of teamwork and conservation, leaving inspired to protect reefs.
Unlike my peers, I didn’t just write the concept—I designed it. This was the first time I truly understood that story isn’t just a narrative element; it’s a practical production tool that holds the entire project together. I learned how to translate story beats into key art, spatial design, and 3D modeling, ensuring that storytelling shaped every aspect of the guest experience.
