Deep Current Outpost is an immersive underwater world where guests of all ages are invited to explore vibrant cities, meet fantastical sea creatures, and uncover ancient legends beneath the waves. Through storytelling, adventure, and interactive experiences, the land inspires a deeper appreciation for ocean conservation and the importance of protecting our planet’s waters.

Vision, Directed.
The original intent and the "Why" for the Deep Current Outpost was originally conceived by me as a way to combine imaginative storytelling using fantastical creatures to provide a meaningful message about ocean conservation. As the project evolved, I stepped into a co-creative director role when the original director needed to shift focus toward their professional commitments, helping to guide the overall vision, unify the team's efforts, and ensure the heart of the story remained strong throughout the design process. In this leadership role, I worked closely with each department to maintain creative cohesion across attractions, dining, retail, and character experiences.

E-Ticket Ride Vehicle
Early Vehicle Concept Sketching
The vessel’s organic form makes Guests feel as though they are venturing into the depths within a living guardian of the sea. Each row is accessed through “gill” doors that swing open to welcome explorers aboard. At the front, a bioluminescent lure glows and shifts in color to match the tone of each scene, guiding riders deeper into the Kaymani’s world.

Expedition Ahma: Journey to the Deep
Collaboration with Dallas Kirkland
Our signature E-Ticket attraction sent guests on a daring submarine mission to find the long-extinct anvil shark, the sacred guardian of the Kaymani people. Beginning in an interactive aquarium queue, the adventure plunges into ancient ruins, glowing reefs, and the myths of the deep.

E-Ticket Load
Stanchion Concept Rendering
Instead of an overhead PA or generic beep to signal boarding, the stanchions came to life. A light blue glow built from within, shining through cutout patterning inspired by the mini-park's Arabic architecture. A functional cue that felt like it belonged.

Hydronaut Hideaway
Restaurant Concept Rendering
Hydronaut Hideaway is a sleek, modern restaurant where guests dine alongside fantastical sea creatures displayed on sweeping digital ocean windows. With coastal cuisine and an elegant aquarium-topped bar, it offers a refined retreat within Deep Current Outpost.
Costume Design
The costumes I designed for Deep Current Outpost reflect the adventurous, oceanic spirit of the land. Each look blends practical expedition wear with touches of fantasy, like iridescent accents, aquatic textures, and layered gear that suggests deep-sea exploration. From scientists and conservationists to storytellers and submersible pilots, every role is clearly defined through purposeful silhouettes, color palettes inspired by the ocean, and subtle storytelling details that make each costume feel authentic to the world we built.
